Weather Watcher Live is your personal, real-time Windows desktop weather station. View real-time weather conditions in your
neighborhood from WeatherBug weather
stations, or as reported by NWS.
Automatically retrieve the current conditions, hourly forecast, daily forecast, severe weather
alerts from NWS (US only), and weather maps
for thousands of cities world-wide. The current conditions can be quickly viewed by holding your mouse
pointer over the Weather Watcher Live system tray icon.
Weather Watcher Live will allow you to automatically retrieve your weather data at a set interval, display the
current temperature in a customized tray icon, display the current condition image in a tray icon, designate
which weather information is displayed in the Weather Watcher Live system tray tooltip, convert the weather data
using almost any conversion, display a weather map as your desktop wallpaper, log the weather data in
any format, export the weather data in any format, customize the look of the Weather Watcher Live interface and
icons via skins, and much more.

- CHANGED: Adjusted daily forecast high/low temperatures as needed so they match up with the hourly forecast high/low temperatures.
- FIXED: Replaced the Splendid skin degree symbols with the proper HTML special character so they would display properly when Internet Explorer 8 is installed.
- FIXED: For Windows 64-bit users, the Weather Watcher Live system tray icon was reverting back to Italic after retrieving the weather when the Set tray icon to Italic until first weather update option was enabled.
- FIXED: Updated colors of all textboxes and dropdowns on the Weather Watcher Live interface so they will display properly when using custom Windows colors.
- FIXED: The weather data in the NOW section of the main Weather Watcher Live window was not always refreshing properly when realtime weather data was downloaded.

- ADDED: The latest changes will be displayed when a new version of Weather Watcher Live is installed. These changes can also be accessed from the Weather Watcher Live About window.
- ADDED: An "Auto-detect proxy settings for this network" checkbox has been added to the Advanced --> Internet section of the Weather Watcher Live Options window to automatically import the current IE proxy settings.
- CHANGED: The Tray Icon and Advanced Options menu items automatically expand so they are visible as soon as the Weather Watcher Live Options window is opened.
- CHANGED: Made some changes to the DL.EXE application to resolve Internet connection issues.
- FIXED: If using the wallpaper map feature, Weather Watcher Live will automatically update the URLs for the selected wallpaper map(s) when new maps are installed at startup.
- FIXED: Weather Watcher Live was not releasing object handles used by the DL.EXE application after retrieving the weather.
- FIXED: Updated map list links to fix the maps that were no longer updating.
- FIXED: Wind gauge text was not centering properly for weather stations outside of the US.
- FIXED: The Tray Icon --> Tooltip --> Show Tray Balloon Tip When list changes were not being saved when no other settings were modified and the Weather Watcher Options window was closed.
- FIXED: The Daylight Remaining tooltip item was not calculating correctly when the sunrise and sunset occurred on different days.

- ADDED: Proxy server and port text boxes to the "Internet" section of the Weather Watcher Live Options window.
- CHANGED: Rewrote DL.EXE application to work around some data retrieval issues created by the recent IE8 and Windows updates. The new DL.EXE application downloads data more quickly and should work for those people who found that Weather Watcher could no longer retrieve the weather after installing those recent Windows updates.
- CHANGED: Aligned the "Observed" and "Downloaded" time stamps at the bottom of the main Weather Watcher Live window.
- FIXED: Various GUI issues in the main Weather Watcher Live window that appeared after IE8 was installed.
- FIXED: Weather Watcher Live was continuously attempting to retrieve the weather when no Internet connection was found and no local weather data was available.
- FIXED: The wind values were not converting properly in the "DAILY" section of the main Weather Watcher Live window when a comma was being used as the Windows regional decimal symbol.
- FIXED: The "Display tenths for Celsius temperatures" and "Display wind direction in degrees" settings in the "Advanced" section of the Weather Watcher Live Options window were not saving after being changed.
